Business to Business Forum on Healthcare Solutions Offers Employers Access to Leading Experts in Uncertain Times
NEW ORLEANS –Last year, when Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Louisiana hosted the first Business to Business Forum on Healthcare Solutions (B2B health forum), the employers and HR professionals who attended had many questions about the current and future landscape of healthcare.
Today, the rising cost of healthcare and potential legislative changes are causing employers even more concern. Blue Cross has partnered with Greater New Orleans, Inc. and the New Orleans Chamber of Commerce to share information and answer their questions. The organizations will host the second B2B health forum from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 7 at the Hyatt Regency New Orleans.
There is no cost to attend the B2B health forum, but space is available on a first-come, first-served basis. Advanced registration is strongly recommended. Register and see the event agenda at www.bcbsla.com/B2BHealthForum.
This B2B health forum will bring business leaders and community organizations together with healthcare providers, insurance plan executives, government officials, advocates and others to discuss what Louisiana businesses can do to promote better health among employees and rein in costs.
Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Louisiana is the largest private insurer in the state of Louisiana and has been increasing its commitment to the New Orleans region through hosting the B2B Forum, joining Tulane University to create the Partnership for Healthcare Innovation, and as the title sponsor of the New Orleans bike share program, Blue Bikes, launching in fall 2017. The insurer has also recently launched the SmartShopper website, designed to make healthcare pricing more transparent for Blue Cross customers across the state.
