Haul and Install Potential Bid Opportunity
This scope of work is for the transport, installation and preparation of temporary housing such as travel trailers. Work orders will be issued to selected contractor(s) to pick up units from one or more staging locations near the impacted area and transport, install and prepare units for occupancy. Projected Bid Posting on or about October 1, 2021 and projected bid closing on or about October 5, 2021. Site Preparation Potential Bid Opportunity The scope of work associated with this bid opportunity is site preparations necessary for the installation of temporary housing units owned by the State of Louisiana to provide shelter for Hurricane Ida survivors. This scope of work is still under development but likely includes site dirt work, placing aggregate, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and other work required to prepare existing sites and unimproved property for installation of temporary housing units. Projected bid posting on or about October 4, 2021 and projected bid closing October 6, 2021. Maintenance of Temporary Housing Units Potential Bid Opportunity This scope of work associated with this bid opportunity is maintenance and repairs for temporary housing units owned by the State of Louisiana to provide shelter for Hurricane Ida survivors. This scope of work has not been completely outlined but likely includes electrical, carpentry, and plumbing trades as well as more general maintenance work. Projected bid posting on or about October 6, 2021 and projected bid closing October 11, 2021.
